The cabin/shelter is attached to the subframe.

The subframe protects both the flexible chassis from the stiff cabin and the stiff cabin from the flexible chassis. It absorbs the enormous torsional forces that inevitably occur when driving off-road. The subframe decouples the box from the vehicle chassis in the event of diagonal twisting.

Only a classic spring mount can meet all the requirements for durability and torsional strength.

In addition to spring mounts, there are other design options, such as diamond-shaped mounts or 3 or 4-point mounts.

Based on our many years of experience gained during off-road trips and rallies, we have developed our own 4wheel24 heavy-duty subframe.
