4wheel24 - the specialists for custom off-road solutions

When the founder, owner and managing director Tobias Teichmann changed from two- to four-wheeled all-terrain vehicles in 2005, he chose a Land Rover Discovery to turn his first vehicle conversion ideas for the annual Africa Rally into reality. All of his concepts were geared towards stability and reliability. The components and innovations, endurance tested for the toughest off-road use, quickly found fans – and the first customers of 4wheel24.

The needs of his own growing family and the restrictions impacting travel and off-road rallies led to new business ventures, which still have their roots in rally design: the 4wheel24 team, which had already grown substantially at this time, received a steady stream of orders for expedition trucks, since Tobias has made himself a name with his own eye-catching MAN truck.

Our portfolio of services grew steadily: the construction of subframes, rear carrier concepts, performance enhancements, a large number of full conversions every year, and much more.

One side activity, which lies especially close to the team's heart, are charity projects. Tobias has become a name among charitable institutions for the construction of mobile hospitals, laboratories and ambulances, which are also used off-road. 4wheel24 ambulances are currently driving in Uganda, Sierra Leone and the Philippines. This in turn led to orders of ambulances and mobile treatment vehicles in our own latitudes.

It remains exciting to see where the journey still goes. One thing is certain: standing still is a step backwards, and we continue to work tirelessly on extraordinary innovations and ideas to delight our customers!
